The Joy of Written Processes

What are the positive effects of clarity through processes?

Throughout my life, whenever I've needed clarity, list-making has been something I've turned to every time. This have helped me in all 15 years of selling commercial vehicles to reach a turnover of approximately 10 million euros per year.

Every time I get tired I say out loud the benefits:

  1. Clarity helps you detach from the business and build a business that you can scale. You can even call it a franchise, even if you don't sell franchises.

  2. Through processes that clarify things I create habits that make people become loyal to the work they have to do. They will not do what they have to do once and then every time someone pushes them from behind.

  3. Clarity helps me detach from work when I'm with my family and from my family when I'm at work.

  4. Through clarity, I will finally be able to delegate what others know better than me, that is, to become an entrepreneur, not an employee of my own company.

  5. Clarity in the sales process makes converting a lead into a customer much faster and at much lower cost.

  6. Sometimes an action to perform needs a bit more time than you planned. Clarity helps you know how much to invest, when to invest and when to stop.

  7. If you eliminate chaos you will attract birds for which you have prepared a nest, the right employees in the right place.

  8. Clarity helps you see the right connection between the market, what customers need, and what you can offer repetitively.

  9. Every employee is unique and learning time differs from person to person. If you are clear about things, you can clearly see whether or not an employee will be able to own the processes you delegate.

  10. We entrepreneurs often create confusion and chaos because we plan too many outcomes for an employee, who in the end only does is slow the flow. If you manage to put things clearly on paper, you will be able to define exactly the roles and how many people you need to be able to generate the best result for your clients every time.

  11. The clarity with which you act also brings peace in your relationships with clients. They know your business and the pace at which you can serve them.

  12. The atmosphere in the team is pleasant and in harmony. Plan results that people can actually achieve.

  13. Teamwork really does happen. Everyone reaches the result for which he is responsible, and we do not need to keep filling gaps because the flow cannot be carried forward.

  14. You are tired at the end of the day, but it is a tiredness that gives you satisfaction and energy to get out of bed the next day.

  15. You can scale the company, too, without diminishing the profit.

Bring clarity to yourself and the people you lead, and then you can enjoy the profits you've generated.
